`1 Corinthians 10:11

This is a simple comparison of how 1 Corinthians 10:11 is writ in different translations of the Holy Scriptures.  I did not go through every English version. As is noted below, many of them have the same exact words. Regardless, all of them noticeably have or could be interpreted in context as having the exact same meaning.

I feel like the "VOICE" translation, here, is like the old honest aunt in the corner of the room, sipping her tea, waiting for others to make the point to the young girl who is asking "What's wrong with this dress?"  While the rest are more politely saying such as "Darling, I think the hem might be a little short. You've grown so in the last year." or "I think you need a little guidance in learning how to dress as a young lady of virtue." she can't take it anymore and suddenly barks out, "You look like a tart and all the boys are going to think you're easy!" 

It is the end of the age or the ends of the ages, or the end of this system of things, or the ends of the world, but some people don't, or don't want to, know what that really means. So, the VOICE says "the beginning of the end is happening in our time." 

Better put on a longer skirt and forget about going out on that date, dear. It's late in the evening and time for prayer!
