I had a thought in my head ...

 ... of you, who turned to me and said, "What if I told you that I worship Satan?What would you say to that?" 

So, I asked you, "What do you hope to get from Satan?'  You did not answer. I waited. You still did not answer.   Then, I added, "Let me tell you what a brother told me, then, before you answer." 

Then, I told you what an elder told our congregation once, only more specifically related to you personally. Which, if you were a person in a band, would be something like this: 

"Imagine you wake up in the morning and you are not tired, nothing hurts, nothing about your body feels awkward- not too young, not too old, not too anything- but, it feels just right. You get out of bed and nothing of you creaks, aches, burns or twinges. Your vision is perfect.

Perhaps, you eat before leaving or wait until you return. Either way, when you begin to prepare food, there is no need to read labels. There is no doubt in your mind as to if the food is safe, if someone put weird chemicals in or lied about the contents in any way. Instead there are good memories of you bringing in your harvest with the help of friends and all the food you have was made by you or by another family member living with you, or was given to you as either a gift or in exchange for part of your harvest (so that everyone could have the enjoyment of a variety of taste). You know you will eat it and it will be healthy, tasty and cause no upset of any kind in your system, not even the upset of allergy or addiction. 

You step outside. There is no need to lock your door, if you even want to have a door. As you walk along, you know that every single person you meet is going to be someone who loves you, who you alo love, and every creature you meet will not fear you or be feared by you.

And, if you continue with your music, it will be as the person you were meant to be, the true self of you, unencumbered by the pain inflicted upon you by the world. All this work will be a work of joy, an expression of your love, your true inner being, to freely give to others to touch their heart. They will not love you for your music. They will love your music because it comes from you. And, because, you are now perfect, living forever, and able to hone your craft in the direction you want until you are ready to share it." 

Then, I asked, "Now, when I ask what you hope to get from Satan, I mean, in comparison to all that, what does he have to offer?" 

You did not answer. 

I told you, "Because, usually, when I have asked people this, they told me they don't want to deal with all of that. They are tired and just want to have fun for now. To which I replied that they are tired now and they will be tired while having fun now, but, if they do good works now, while being tired, they will have better, longer fun and happiness, later, but also with abundant energy." 

What do you hope to get from Satan, compared to that?
